Are you ready for some football?

Calleigh is!  She cheered on the maize and blue in her cheerleading outfit.

Max's Baptism

September 9th was a very special day.  Max was baptized and we were able to celebrate the special occasion with family and the Rupps.  Rick and Jen are Max's godparents.

Great-Grandma Fieberkorn crocheted Max's baptismal outfit.

Grandpa Webster made this faith chest for Max to store keepsakes, including a quilt he received from our church.

Family Vacation

With summer coming to a close and the start of preschool just around the corner for Calleigh, we decided, kind of last minute, to take advantage of the long Labor Day weekend and take a mini family vacation to Traverse City.  We made a side trip to visit Gramps and Grandma Stringer, too.

Gramps made sure the old tire swing, that Russ used to play on as a kid, was up for Calleigh.

Gramps and Grandma couldn't wait to get their hands on Max.

Mmmm!  Yummy s'mores by the campfire.

Our hotel in Traverse City was right across the street from the Traverse City State Park Beach.  We walked over there one evening.  Not sure what we were thinking taking Calleigh over in her clothes.  Of course, she fell in the water and got completely soaked!

The covered bridge along the scenic route at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.

We found a beach to play at for a while.

Max got to chill in his little beach cabana.
