Max ~ 2 Months Old

Max had his 2 month check-up this week.  He weighed 14lb 3oz (94th percentile) and is 24-1/2" long (93rd percentile).  Needless to say, he's a good eater!  He's only sleeping about 3-4 hours at a time throughout the night.  He's a pretty easy going little guy and doesn't seem to mind his sister loving all over him.

Puzzle-Master

Calleigh's new favorite activity - puzzles!  And she's getting darn good at them!

Little Mommy

Last weekend, while Russ and I were busy in the kitchen, Calleigh was watching Diego and Max was lounging in his swing.  Max got a bit fussy and before we could even get to the living room to check on him, Calleigh had picked up a bottle and started feeding him.  Seemed to do the trick!

And, just like a real mommy, Calleigh multi-tasked while she fed Max.  She didn't miss a minute of Diego.

Our Smiley, Happy Boy!

Max is "talking" and smiling now.  Seems like the best place to catch him doing these things is on the changing table.  Either mommy is pretty funny or the little guy loves having his diaper off!

Calleigh and Max

Calleigh might be coming around a little about having her picture taken.  I was taking pictures of Max and I think she got a little jealous.  Next thing I know, she's asking me to take pictures of her!

Fieb Family BBQ

We were able to get together again this summer for a Fieberkorn Family BBQ at my aunt and uncle's house.  My grandma was lovin having all six of her great-grandchildren there (#7 due in October!).

Calleigh and my cousin's daughter, Kayla, became fast friends.

Kayla held Calleigh's hand and "protected" her from my aunt's dog since Calleigh is afraid of dogs.

Hot Summer ~ Cool Fun

What a crazy hot summer it has been so far!  Calleigh has loved being able to swim in Grandma and Grandpa Webster's pool.

We took Max on his first road trip in July.  We spent a few days at Oma and Opa's.  It was so hot that about the only thing we could do was find some cool water.

Calleigh cooling off in the sprinklers.

 "Chase me, Opa!"

Pool time!

Max's First Month

Our first attempt at a family picture.  Calleigh has decided she hates having her picture taken and refused to get in the picture, so...
just Mommy, Daddy & Max.

We've had quite a few visitors since we came home from the hospital.  Here's Calleigh and Dechlan checking on Max.

Calleigh doing a little loving on her little brother.

Max sure does a lot of smiling and laughing while he's sleeping, along with a whole lot of grunting and groaning.  He's the noisiest sleeper I've ever heard!

Bathtime!

Calleigh helped give Max his first bath.

She loves to cuddle Max...
and give him lots of hugs and kisses.

My dapper little guy.

Hmm...

Max's first dip in a pool.  After the initial shock, he loved it.

Once again, I'm shocked by how fast the time has gone!  It's definitely a little crazier around here with two.  Calleigh seems to be adjusting pretty well.  She loves to help with Max and has to know where he is and what he's doing all the time.  She has her moments, though, when she gets a bit jealous and can become pretty high maintenance.  I'm grateful she hasn't asked us to send him back though!
